THINGS THAT ARE GOOD TO REMEMBER WHEN SITTING TEA
TEA IS A SHARED EXPERIENCE
We will mostly drink Tea from a Bowl, unless we’re Sitting Gong Fu, and those might be the teeny, tiny cuppies you might think of when you think of Chinese Tea Ceremony
We are Sat on the floor and you’ll have access to cushions and if you need to Sit higher, I can accommodate
It’s ideal that I can reach your Bowl when you’ve finished each round of Tea
You do NOT have to drink every bowl or cup or tea, PLACING A HAND ABOVE YOUR BOWL is a great signal that, for that round, you might linger with your Tea or Sit that round out
It’s ideal that I can reach Bowls when we finish each round
You may need to pass a Bowl to a fellow Tea Friend if they cannot reach theirs
